Requirements
Graduate of an accredited medical school and an accredited residency program in Family Medicine
NY State Medical License
Board Certified in a relevant specialty boardin Family Medicine by ABFM and /or ACOFP
Current BCLS Certificate
Current DEA Certificate
Effective interpersonal, communication, organizational, and management skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and electronic health records (Epic knowledge a plus)
Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus
Faculty Responsibilities
- Supervise, precept, and advise residents
- Supervise and manage selected curriculum
- Engage in scholarly activity and participate in research activity
- Responsible for hospital based (inpatient or obstetrics) service and training
Qualifications
Residency faculty are afforded multiple opportunities for professional development and collaboration with our sister programs in New York City. Faculty are eligible for academic appointment at our affiliated medical schools: The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine.
