About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced creative professional to join a leading branding, advertising, and digital agency renowned for crafting impactful campaigns and innovative digital experiences. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in translating strategic visions into captivating content across multiple platforms, bringing research findings and media plans to life through powerful words and innovative ideas. You will collaborate closely with designers and art directors to ensure cohesive and impactful creative output that shapes brand narratives and drives client success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts and write compelling copy for social media campaigns, driving engagement and brand recognition.
  • Create concepts and write clear, persuasive copy for websites, applying a strong understanding of SEO principles to maximize online visibility.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with agency designers and art directors, contributing both visually and verbally to concept development for maximum impact.
  • Produce concepts and copy for print collateral, including brochures and one-sheets.
  • Craft concepts and write scripts and outlines for video content.
  • Potentially conduct interviews for video production, leveraging experience in video production and working with editors.
  • Deliver creative concepts and copy that effectively translate research findings and media strategies into tangible, impactful content.
  • Transform strategic creative briefs into purposeful, impactful, and immediately useful creative content, including headlines, body copy, social posts, and narrative web copy.
  • Regularly write copy for digital banners and web pages, ensuring messaging is specific, on-brand, and aligned with the established tone and voice.

Requirements

  • Mid-Level experience with 5-8+ years in a professional writing role.
  • A strong strategic mindset, capable of writing clear, compelling copy that drives action.
  • Demonstrated ability to write authentically and effectively as a human, using AI solely for research to inform thinking, not for content generation.
  • Exceptional curiosity and a proactive approach to deeply understand client businesses and their objectives.
  • A commitment to bringing forward the best ideas, pushing creative boundaries responsibly, and focusing on the job’s overall goal rather than just the assignment.
  • Profound understanding of social campaigns and the ability to generate ideas and copy that thrive in social environments.
  • A positive, supportive, and collaborative demeanor, fostering strong working relationships with team members and partners.
  • Openness and transparency in communication, including proactively raising concerns about timelines or confusion.
  • Fluency in Google Docs for writing and project tracking software.
  • Ability to seamlessly integrate AI for research purposes to enhance insights and inform creative direction.
  • Availability for an average of 10 hours of work per week.
  • Flexibility and availability for meetings/calls during business hours for at least 2 days per week.
  • Ability to schedule turnarounds within 24 hours or over 3-4 day blocks of time with 1-2 days’ notice.
  • Commitment to informing the agency weeks in advance about vacation and personal time for effective workflow scheduling.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in deck preparation tools such as presentation software or design layout software.
