About the role
A copywriter at Signal Theory is responsible for bringing smart and original thinking to projects, collaborating with an integrated team, and effectively processing and communicating information.
Responsibilities
- Participate in group discussions and meetings
- Work with outside resources such as production companies, audio production, talent, etc.
- Eagerly volunteer for targeted needs and opportunities
- Collaborate well with colleagues, both in and out of the creative discipline, in a positive and inclusive manner
- Effectively manage time to meet responsibilities and deadlines
- Create, organize, and present effective presentations
- Guide associate copywriters when needed
- Use appropriate tools to be efficient and effective in work
- Pay attention to details
- Understand and confidently write for various digital platforms and video/broadcast production
- Maintain a solid working relationship with proofreaders
- Explore multiple solutions to problems and edit own work
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in collaboration, communication, management, technical knowledge, and creative thinking. No formal college degree is required, but relevant experience is assumed.
Qualifications
Applicable, seasoned experience is assumed but not required. Knowledge and experience are often just as valuable.
