Responsibilities
- Write and edit customer-facing copy across paid social, email marketing, push notifications, landing pages, in-app messaging, onboarding flows, editorial content, and integrated campaigns.
- Ensure all copy aligns with Poshmark’s voice, tone, and brand positioning across channels and customer experiences.
- Contribute to campaign ideation, messaging development, and creative brainstorming alongside cross-functional teams.
- Adapt tone, structure, and messaging to suit platform-specific behaviors and user expectations across email, mobile, social, web, and app experiences.
- Develop concise, compelling headlines, CTAs, captions, and campaign messaging optimized for mobile-first environments.
- Collaborate closely with designers to ensure copy and visual storytelling work cohesively together.
- Partner with Growth and CRM teams to create and optimize conversion-focused copy for acquisition, retention, reactivation, and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
- Write and test multiple copy variations informed by engagement metrics, CTR, open rates, and campaign performance data.
- Iterate quickly based on testing results and business objectives.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of copywriting experience, ideally within a consumer brand, marketplace, fashion/lifestyle company, or agency environment supporting DTC or app-based clients.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating range across brand storytelling, performance marketing, UX writing, editorial content, and digital campaigns.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with strong attention to tone, clarity, and brevity.
- Ability to adapt messaging across multiple formats, audiences, and platforms while maintaining a cohesive brand voice.
- Strong headline writing and storytelling instincts with an understanding of how copy drives user behavior.
- Experience writing for paid social, email marketing, push notifications, landing pages, and in-app messaging.
- Familiarity with copy optimization principles, including engagement metrics, conversion drivers, and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with mobile-first content strategies and channel-native best practices.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Collaborative mindset with comfort receiving feedback, iterating quickly, and contributing strategically to creative discussions.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience within fashion, resale, marketplace, or consumer app environments.
- UX writing or product copy experience.
- Familiarity with SEO and AEO content principles.
- Experience using Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms.
- Strong social-native writing instincts across TikTok and Instagram.
- Experience developing or maintaining brand voice guidelines.
- Familiarity with AI prompt workflows and scalable content generation processes.
