Responsibilities
- Write compelling, high-performing copy for paid media, landing pages, emails, SMS, product descriptions, blogs, and other digital channels
- Craft persuasive direct-response and brand performance marketing content and storytelling that highlights product benefits and drives conversions
- Develop clear, concise, and engaging scripts for Video Sales Letters (VSLs) and other video assets
- Adapt tone, voice, and messaging to fit various audiences, campaigns, and distribution channels
- Optimize copy for SEO, engagement, and conversion while ensuring compliance with the FTC & FDA regulations and maintaining brand consistency
- Partner with marketing and content leads to maintain an organized content calendar and ensure all deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with marketing goals
- Partner with Product Development and CX teams to translate complex information into educational and consumer-friendly messaging
- Partner with Paid Media, Social, Content, Designers, and Email/SMS teams to align copy with campaign goals, creative direction across channels, and bring creative concepts to life
- Serve as a key proofreader for marketing and product assets, including labels - ensuring compliance, quality, accuracy, clarity, tone, and consistency across all brand channels
- Use data-driven insights and A/B testing to refine and enhance ad copy, headlines, and messaging strategies
- Maintain familiarity with product claims, disclaimers, and guidelines to ensure consistent, accurate brand representation
- Conduct ongoing consumer and competitive research to inform content creation and keep messaging relevant
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in writing direct-response, performance-based, or e-commerce marketing copy
- Proven portfolio showcasing high-performing digital content (ads, landing pages, emails, or product descriptions)
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with SEO, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and A/B testing methodologies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
