Jobs search Copywriter dentsu Full-time Detroit, MI, US 9h ago Job Description Copywriter, CRM **Detroit location required for weekly onsite requirements** Position Summary We’re seeking a Copywriter to write for one of our leading quick serve restaurant clients with CRM and owned-channel marketing campaigns across email, SMS, push, and loyalty communications. This role partners closely with Design, Strategy, Messaging, project managers, and client stakeholders to develop, manage, and maintain approved customer-facing copy across national campaigns, weekly test plans, and promotional initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable working directly within Figma, Word, and Excel. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage copy for email, SMS, push notifications, subject lines, preheaders, and loyalty messagingWork directly in Figma alongside designers during concepting and exploration phasesPartner with designers, strategists, and creative leadership during brainstorms, reviews, and revisionsEnsure dynamic variables, URL callouts, legal language, and personalization requirements are properly incorporated into creative filesSupport national campaigns, promotional launches, test plans, loyalty programs, and retargeting initiativesBuild weekly messaging within Confluence adhering to testing fundamentals and best practices for copy development.Draft new legal-review copy when required and prepare documentation for approval workflowsUpdate and maintain final approved copy documentation following creative approvalsParticipate in internal reviews to validate messaging feasibility, audience requirements, personalization, and content accuracyReview messaging consistency across segments, channels, and customer journeysEnsure all copy aligns with brand voice, promotional strategy, legal guidelines, and CRM best practicesCollaborate with PMs and Creative Director to manage timelines, revisions, and stakeholder feedbackAssist with QA and DCS review processes by validating:URLslegal copypersonalization variablesCTA languageheadline/body copy selectionsaudience consistencypromotional accuracyMaintain high attention to detail across fast-moving campaign deliverables and versioning workflowsQualifications 3–5+ years of CRM, digital marketing, agency, or promotional copywriting experienceExperience writing for email, SMS, push, and loyalty campaignsStrong understanding of approval workflows, dynamic content, and personalized messagingFamiliarity with Figma, Confluence, Microsoft Word, and collaborative project environmentsExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams Ideal Attributes Proactive and solutions-orientedComfortable in highly iterative creative environmentsStrong partner to design and strategy teamsDetail obsessed with excellent QA instinctsAdaptable to shifting prioritiesAble to balance speed, creativity, and accuracy simultaneously Additional Information The anticipated base salary range for this position is $62,800 - $85,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
