About the Role

A Böhme Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, driving sales, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role helps lead, coach, and develop the team while ensuring the store meets performance, merchandising, and operational standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills who can motivate the team, solve problems quickly, and maintain a positive, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coaching staff to ensure great customer service and strong sales performance.
• Assisting with scheduling, shift coverage, and coordinating daily tasks.
• Handling customer issues or escalations to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Overseeing store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Managing inventory, restocking, receiving shipments, and maintaining product displays.
• Helping meet sales goals by analyzing performance and motivating the team.
• Ensuring store standards are met—cleanliness, merchandising, and organization.
• Recruiting top talent that not only elevates a team but drives better results.
• Supporting training for new employees and ongoing staff development.

Requirements

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• At least one-year retail management experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to count and perform retail mathematical equations.
• Excellent organization, verbal, and written skills.
• Ability to work POS and other store computer applications.
