Responsibilities

• Install flat glass products for doors, storefronts, windows, bathtubs, mirrors, tables, and other glass-related items.
• Perform necessary repairs.
• Measure and cut glass to custom specifications.
• Evaluate the customer's home or business during our Glass Doctor service to determine additional needs.
• Comfortably work at heights, stairs, and elevators.
• Be comfortable using mobile technology and digital software.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Ensure precise measurements are taken for accurate installation.
• Manage your schedule with us, we handle scheduling for you.
• Identify opportunities to assist the customer.

Requirements

• Average of one year or more experience in glass installation, preferably with experience in glass cutting.
• Knowledge and understanding of basic trade tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs independently: working with glass can be heavy and our technicians often work alone.
• Comfortable working at heights, stairs, and elevators.
• Comfortable using mobile technology and digital software.

Qualifications

• Not agreeable with taking measurements that are "good enough." They must be super precise to the fraction of an inch for the glass to fit the first time.
• Think out loud like, "A broken window, what's the problem?" to our customers, when something breaks, it's an emergency and safety issue for them.
• Agreeing that showing up on Monday mornings is optional. But our customers depend on us to show up on our scheduled appointments.
• Canceling a job at the last minute affects not only the customer but the entire team.
