Responsibilities

  • Follow remediation and restoration procedures to clean clients' homes and belongings using proper equipment and personal protective gear.
  • Maintain company equipment.
  • Gather and document detailed records of work, including photographs, notes, and videos.
  • Communicate with property owners empathetically regarding their loss.
  • Perform minor demolition tasks.

How to succeed in this role

Success as a Restoration Technician depends on your dedication. This can be physically demanding work, often in contaminated spaces like attics, basements, or crawl spaces. You’ll need to be comfortable getting dirty and working in challenging environments.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Able to walk/stand for long periods, climb stairs, and work in tight spaces.
  • Comfortable using respiratory equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Available to work after hours and on rotation for emergency calls.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $XX.00 - $XX.00 per hour, with additional earnings available through on-call bonuses and overtime.
