About the Role
The VIP Salon Coordinator assists Table Games operations in the High Limit Salons, including issuance and buyback of pit markers, manual guest ratings, Venetian Rewards sign-ups, and providing system support during ACSC downtimes. All duties adhere to departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of all operating systems and equipment.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Internal Controls, MICS, and Nevada Gaming Regulations (including Nevada Gaming Control Board, IRS, and Title 31).
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and casino data.
- Enforce laws and regulations pertaining to underage gambling; ensure minors are not allowed to gamble.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and supplied workstation.
- Handle supplies safely, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods.
- Perform other tasks as directed by supervisors or delegated authority.
- Prioritize safety as an essential function of the role.
- Maintain consistent and regular attendance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older.
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must obtain and maintain valid Nevada Gaming Registration and any other required certification or license.
- 1 year of experience; previous clerk and/or casino cage experience preferred.
Skills
- Working knowledge of basic computer skills and data entry.
- Ability to process and compile data according to established guidelines.
- Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity; ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Lift or carry up to 10 pounds unassisted.
- Physically access all areas of the property, including drive areas, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines with internal and external contacts.
- Ability to interact appropriately with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts.
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling.
- Work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
- Work indoors with exposure to environmental factors such as CRT screens, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
