Audacy, Inc. · New York, NY · 3 wk ago
OTHR$60k/yrFull-time

Audacy’s Podcast division is seeking a Coordinator to support both the talent and revenue sides of the business in a hybrid role based in New York (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in-office).

About the role

This position has two key facets:

  • Talent-facing: Work with Audacy podcast partners on potential revenue opportunities, keep them updated on pending brand deals, and secure approvals for advertising integrations.
  • Internal-facing: Collaborate with the sales team to brainstorm custom advertising integrations for Audacy shows and conduct outreach to individual sellers about proactive brand pitches.

The role is involved in every aspect of the custom branded content workflow—from reviewing media plans to collaborating with the strategic sales marketing team on pitch decks, to ensuring sponsored content meets brand requirements. While the Podcast Revenue Partnerships team is small, you will work across multiple divisions at Audacy, including sales, partner operations, finance, marketing, and events.

Responsibilities

  • Become the subject matter expert for all Audacy partner podcasts and act as the lead liaison between podcast partner shows and the sales department.
  • Represent the Audacy slate in sales meetings by contributing ideas for branded segments, presenting sponsorships, and other advertising integrations, while considering talent’s brand affinities, creative preferences, and show structure.
  • Serve as an extension of each Audacy partner team by keeping them updated on pitch progress, industry trends, and attending recurring partner meetings.
  • Communicate show updates (e.g., scheduling changes, content shifts, availability) to relevant internal teams (sales, marketing, finance, etc.) that may impact revenue streams.
  • Work with the Partner Management team on post-sales workflow, new partner onboarding, and developing and presenting show-specific monthly reports.
  • Utilize systems and platforms such as Tableau, Google Slides and Sheets, Salesforce, and other proprietary and public research tools as needed.
  • Monitor relevant news, current events, press, and brand deals across the digital media industry and relay insights to internal teams.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a digital, podcast, or media environment (including internships). Additional experience in sales or advertising is a plus.
  • Passion for podcasts and eagerness to learn more about the space.
  • Strong creativity, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to interact professionally with talent, agents, internal management, and leadership.

Pay

The anticipated starting salary for New York-based individuals is $60,000/yr. Final salary will be determined based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, location, and internal/external equity.

Schedule

Hybrid work arrangement requiring in-office presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
