About the role
The Coordinator Permitting position at Pauley Construction, LLC is responsible for maintaining permit compliance and processing permits through the proper city/municipality to meet company deadlines. This role involves managing plan profiles, utility reviews, updating applicable systems as needed, and interfacing with external customers on a frequent basis. Additionally, this position includes various office administrative responsibilities such as managing databases, spreadsheets, and filing paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Drafting TCP Requests
- Determining municipal boundaries by use of county GIS maps
- Reviewing and understanding job prints
- Communicating with district inspectors, construction managers and sub-contractors
- Keeping track of all payment receipts for permits
- Maintaining standard office duties such as answering phone calls and returning messages and greeting customers
- Processing and understanding permitting applications
- Utility reviews and plan profile additions
- Communicating with district inspectors, construction managers and sub-contractors as needed
- Keeping track of all payment receipts for permits
- Driving company vehicle as needed to pick up permits or drop off necessary items for them
- Performing basic office tasks such as using standard office equipment (printer, fax, computer, scanner)
- Other tasks/duties as assigned by corporate and/or local operations
Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Hold a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Pass a background check and company drug screening
- Pass all company required training as needed
- Be able to work over-time; after hours; on weekends or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed
- May be required to work nights and holidays as needed
- Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position
- Have general office experience including filing, data entry and the ability to work in various computer software and programs with intermediate levels of skill
- Experience working with construction permits and obtaining them
- Experience reading prints
- Able to meet multiple urgent deadlines in quick and efficient manner
- Effective communication with crew
- Maintain a positive attitude with team
- Maintain good public relations (interact with the public in a courteous manner)
- Have reliable transportation
- Have excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers

Pay
The hourly range for the Coordinator Permitting position is $25.00 - $29.00, depending on experience.
Schedule
