About the role

The Clinic Coordinator – Specialty Care Services is a registered nurse who provides day-to-day operational leadership for one or more ambulatory specialty clinics within Children’s of Alabama. This role coordinates patient care activities, supports providers and staff, and ensures safe, efficient, family-centered services in alignment with Children’s policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The Clinic Coordinator collaborates closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing leadership, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient flow, staff performance, and the overall patient and family experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day operational leadership for one or more ambulatory specialty clinics within Children’s of Alabama.
• Collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing leadership, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient flow, staff performance, and the overall patient and family experience.
• Coordinates patient care activities, supports providers and staff.
• Ensures safe, efficient, family-centered services in alignment with Children’s policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications:
• - Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
• - Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
• Basic Life Support

Qualifications

• Masters of Science Nursing in Nursing or any of the following equivalent qualifications:
• - Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing and 4 Years job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Nursing Experience RN
• - Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing and 7 Years job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Nursing Experience RN
