About the role
Provides supervision on assigned areas for the professional and non-professional staff for the provision of nursing care to a specific patient population in order to support positive patient outcomes consistent with standards for care quality expectations and organization's mission and philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing and non-nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Evaluate patient progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Provide guidance and mentorship to new and less experienced staff members
- Participate in ongoing education and training programs to maintain competency in nursing practices
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing RN Diploma or BSN)
- Experience: One year relevant experience required
Credentials
- Registered Nurse-LIC
- Basic Life Support
- Oncology Chemo/Bio Certification
