Coordinator Medical Staff Quality
About the role
The Medical Staff Services Quality Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the quality, compliance, and credentialing functions of the Medical Staff Services department. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing processes related to Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE), Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE), and credentialing file audits. The coordinator will also contribute to various special projects aimed at improving departmental workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing provider performance evaluation processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage processes related to Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE), Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE), and credentialing file audits.
- Contribute to special projects aimed at improving departmental workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing provider performance evaluation processes.
Requirements
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, health information management, nursing, or a related field.
- Required: · Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical staff services, credentialing, healthcare quality, or a related healthcare administrative field. · Preferred: · Experience working in a hospital or large health system setting. · Familiarity with The Joint Commission (TJC) and CMS. · Prior use of MD Staff and/or MD Stat credentialing system.
- Education: Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, health information management, nursing, or a related field.

- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Full-time on the Day Shift, 8:30-4:30, Monday-Friday Standard Days.
