Responsibilities

  • Captures and analyzes complex, special orders, supplies and equipment.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on and troubleshoots problems for existing equipment.
  • Researches new purchases and coordinates contract negotiations for items purchased.
  • Audits inventory levels and makes cost-effective, quality recommendations.
  • Acts as a liaison between vendors, managers, and various departments to address quality and price issues.
  • Develops, maintains, and updates reports and documents related to equipment and supplies.
  • Maintains and trains other employees as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Management, Business, a related field, or the equivalency.
  • Two (2) years of materials management experience.

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Working conditions and physical demands: Very physical work involving lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving objects. May involve moving heavy equipment and/or supplies.
  • Physical requirements: Carrying, climbing, color determination, lifting, listening, manual dexterity, pulling and/or pushing, reaching, sitting, speaking, standing, stooping, and crouching, walking.
