Coordinator, Market Supply Services
Position Summary
The Coordinator, Market Supply Services is responsible for managing all logistics, documentation, and compliance activities related to the international shipment of finished goods and bulk spirits. This role ensures on time, accurate, and compliant exports through close coordination with internal teams, freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and international customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end export shipment processes for finished goods and bulk spirits, including booking, documentation, scheduling, and track-and-trace.
- Cook with production, warehousing, quality, customer service, and freight partners to ensure on-time shipping readiness.
- Arrange transportation via ocean, air, truck, or multimodal freight, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure export documentation is provided for each order to customers, such as: Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin.
- Ensure Compliance With TTB (Alcohol & Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau), U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP), International trade regulations (Incoterms, HTS codes), Country-specific import requirements.
Customer & Partner Communication
- Serve as primary point-of-contact for customers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, and brokers regarding export shipments.
- Provide timely updates on freight status and resolve issues proactively.
- Support international customers with documentation and shipping inquiries.
Logistics Optimization
- Aid in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for export workflows.
- Identify opportunities to streamline documentation and automate workflows.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain shipment and export records in ERP or TMS systems.
- Track key KPIs such as on-time shipment performance and Case Fill Rate.
- Provide monthly/quarterly reporting to supply chain leadership.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, International Trade, or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in export logistics, preferably in beverage alcohol, CPG, or manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of: Export documentation, Incoterms, HTS classification, TTB regulations for beverage alcohol.
- Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Proficiency in ERP and logistics systems; Excel strong skills required.
Key Competencies
- Excellent communication and customer facing skills.
- High attention to detail and strong documentation accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills; proactive and organized.
- Knowledge of bulk alcohol movement regulations (e.g., DSP transfers) highly preferred.
Financial Responsibility
- May track or report data and handle administrative tasks.
Salary Range
The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $53,440.00 to $66,300.00. The range may vary if the role outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
