About the role

Perform essential clerical and logistical duties for both commodity and non-stock products, ensuring precision in specialized ordering, manual decrementing, and the efficient processing of returns.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for nurses, nurse managers, and end-users to proactively address inventory concerns and align supply levels with real-time departmental needs.
  • Enforce vendor adherence to established contracts and payment practices, conducting regularly scheduled inventory reviews to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to streamline the supply chain, ensuring the right products are strategically positioned in the right locations at the right time to support uninterrupted patient care.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Qualifications

  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
