Coordinator, Fan Events (Temporary)

About the role
This Temporary Coordinator, Fan Events will assist the NHL Events Department with multiple tentpole fan festival events for the 2026-27 NHL Winter Season. The position runs from September 2026 to February 2027.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination of event operations, including but not limited to:
- Working directly with venue contacts to fulfill all contractual obligations
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with vendors, suppliers, and industry contacts
- Supporting the planning and production of NHL Event Fan Festivals, covering areas such as Attraction Development, Audio/Visual, Event Decor, F&B, Hospitality, and Security
- Working directly with league partners, sponsors, and agencies to execute on-site activations at NHL Outdoor Games
- Assisting in ensuring appropriate billing arrangements and invoice reconciliation post-event
- Other departmental duties as assigned
Requirements
- College degree required
- At least 1-2 years of experience coordinating public events, preferably in the sports & entertainment industry
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, and travel to host event cities
- Must be able and willing to travel within the U.S. and Canada

Pay
$25 per hour. Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on experience, training, market demands, and geographic location.
