About the role
The Community and Physician Relations Coordinator develops and executes strategic communications initiatives that enhance brand visibility, protect company reputation, and support marketing objectives. This role works within the Marketing Department and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across media, digital platforms, events, and campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic communications initiatives to enhance brand visibility and protect company reputation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across media, digital platforms, events, and campaigns.
- Work within the Marketing Department to promote Hannibal Regional clinical services offered throughout the region, including serving as liaison to HRMG and CFM providers.
- Secure media coverage and execute PR campaigns.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Show strong media relationship-building experience.
- Show strategic thinking with the ability to align PR initiatives to marketing goals.
- Show experience with media monitoring and analytics tools.
- Show crisis communication experience preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field preferred but not required.
- 3–7 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related marketing role.
Qualifications
- Understand the unique sensitivities of healthcare communications, including patient privacy, regulatory compliance, and community impact.
Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong media relationship-building experience.
- Strategic thinking with ability to align PR initiatives to marketing goals.
