About the role
Through collaboration with cardiac and medical center leadership, this position is responsible for ensuring high-quality services are provided throughout the various programs within the Cardiac Service Line. Responsibilities include seeking national program recognition and/or certification through program development and application, fulfilling patient and family education needs related to program plans, and adhering to fiscal and strategic plans.
Pay
Expected pay for this position is $33.85 - $39.83/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is a salaried position.
Requirements
- Education: Knowledge of cardiovascular clinical specialty through either:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or
- Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R)
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressively more responsible related work experience to gain technical competence in cardiac procedures, policies, and practices, and to coordinate program activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Experience: 3-5 years of clinical experience in a CVICU, CCU, or Cardiac Cath Lab
- Licensure/Certifications: Performance Improvement Training
- Other skills/knowledge: Analytical skills necessary to coordinate operations, develop and administer departmental policies and budgets, and respond effectively to administrative, technical, and employee relations problems.
