About the role
In support of the I&M strategic mission toward the client Perfect Power Initiative and under minimal supervision, this role performs work activities requiring technical knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives. Perfect Power is centered on improving the customer experience by reducing frequent power interruptions and delivering a more reliable service.
Responsibilities
- Cook up work activities within the team and with external partners, including contractors and vendors, to resolve routine technical issues and support field activities.
- Perform a variety of assignments requiring technical knowledge, analytical skills, and problem-solving techniques.
- Participate in the planning and organization of outage-related activities and project work.
- Make sound decisions and contribute to team decision-making and consensus building.
- Collaborate effectively with others by providing information and seeking assistance when needed.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to lower-level employees, as appropriate.
- Identify and support effective ways to protect and enhance the environment while providing reliable electricity at a competitive cost.
Requirements

Qualifications
- Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college or an associate's technical degree and 3 years of experience in design, operations, planning, construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.
