About the role
The Outreach Analyst 2 position plays a crucial role in developing community outreach program activities and coordinating fundraising efforts to foster positive relationships between the university and the local community.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the advisor to the Programming and Activities Board (PAB)
- Assists in planning and implementing programs that promote student development and university spirit
- Manages a significant budget and ensures program goals are met
- Supports leadership training and organizational management opportunities for PAB student leaders
- Represents the Student Connection and Community team on various department and university committees
- Supports Educational Outreach and Student Services (EOSS) divisional initiatives and events
- Works collaboratively across various departments and with diverse populations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Higher and Post-secondary Education, College Student Personnel, Public Administration or a related field preferred
- Experience in advising college/university student organizations
- Track record of creating and executing diverse student programming
- Proven ability to train students for leadership roles
- Expertise in coordinating and prioritizing tasks
- Substantial experience collaborating with diverse populations
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of management principles and practices, project management, and coordination of activities
- Proficiency in budgeting and accounting principles
Skills
- Strong aptitude in establishing and nurturing productive working relationships
- Effective budgeting and financial management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Experience working independently and as part of a team

Pay
$50,000 per year
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; flexible scheduling to accommodate evening and weekend hours based on student event programming and operational needs.
