This role coordinates the academic and administrative activities of the assigned area for faculty, residents, and support personnel. Provides administrative support to the Center Director/Chairperson, coordinates personnel as assigned, and upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate academic and administrative activities for faculty and residents.
  • Provide administrative support to the Center Director/Chairperson.
  • Manage personnel as assigned.
  • Develop and manage budgets, setting and meeting financial goals.
  • Maintain office organization systems and record-keeping.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with two years of experience in medical student and/or resident program support, other training education programs, or related program coordination experience.
  • OR Associate’s Degree with three years of experience in the same fields.
  • OR High School Diploma or equivalent with five years of experience in the same fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget development and financial management.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree.
  • Experience with RRC (Residency Review Committee) requirements.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.

Schedule

Full-time, 80 hours biweekly (40 hours per week).
