What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Maintain professional communication with physician offices both orally and in writing
- Document clarification requests and follow up, ensuring progress is recorded in Pathpoint Rx
- Resolve internal inquiries within established timeframes
- Make outbound calls to physician offices to request prescription refills and updates on pending requests
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of written prescription clarifications or refill requests
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Requires a bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a healthcare-related call center, pharmacy physician's office, or social service environment
- Active Pharmacy Technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
