Job Summary

Join our Award Winning team at Four Chaplains Nursing Care Center! Bronze National Quality award winners! Our cooks prepare amazing and nourishing meals for our guests and ensure the highest quality standards of food service and the best culinary experience are provided at all times.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Executive Chef to create and review menus, prepare food, and ensure the meals are prepared in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures.
• Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations.
• Cook food according to recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance are achieved.
• Auxiliary tasks may include assisting with tray line setup and plate assembly.
• Assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ServSafe certified.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures.

Pay

• $18.85 per hour starting wages $18.00 per starting wagesPLUS $0.85 per hour Hero Pay!

Schedule

• 8 hour shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays
• Part Time - Flex Shift will rotate Days and Afternoon shifts:5:00 AM - 1:30 PM11:30 AM - 8:00 PM10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• No late nights!
