About the role

Prepares and cooks foods for the Hospital patients, staff, and visitors as directed by management. Responsible for overall sanitation of the department.

Responsibilities

• Reviews production sheets to determine types and quantity of product to be used.
• Plans cooking schedule and utilization of leftovers, keeping waste and leftovers to a minimum.
• Ensures food quality by following proper food preparation, handling and sanitation techniques.
• Cleans and sanitizes preparation area and equipment.
• Provides assistance to tray line.

Requirements

• ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience.

Pay

$17.00 to $17.00 per hour.
