COOK SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)
About the role
Bon Appétit Management Company operates more than 1,000 cafés around the country for corporations, universities, and museums, as well as a few dozen public restaurants. We’ve led the industry in socially and environmentally responsible sourcing, from sustainable seafood to cage-free eggs. We cook everything from scratch using fresh, local ingredients.
Responsibilities
- Trains employees
- Plans, assigns and directs work
- Applies performance
- Rewards and disciplines associates
- Addresses complaints and resolves problems
- Advises management of purchasing requirements
- Uses approved food recipes and production standards
- Ensures proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures
- Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy
- Maintains established food rotations in storage
- Follows HACCP guidelines
- Operates food-service equipment safely
- Serves meals
- Remains present during scheduled meal periods
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Three to five years of cooking and supervisory experience is required.
Qualifications
Fixed Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour

Direct supervision, training, planning, directing, appraising, rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints, resolving problems, purchasing, food preparation, equipment operation, cleaning, food storage, HACCP compliance, serving meals, remaining present during meal periods, performing other duties.
