About the Role

Responsible for creating a consistent quality product and culinary experience, while also providing exceptional customer service, presentation, and a clean and safe eating environment. This role includes supervising concessions during shows, counting draws, making deposits, and inventorying product.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality food product by overseeing taste, appearance, and portion sizes
  • Demonstrate good basic knife skills and production skills
  • Read and follow company recipes
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized, and sanitary work area
  • Manage time effectively to stay on track with daily tasks
  • Adhere to daily menu and prep lists
  • Work independently on assigned stations
  • Anticipate customers’ needs and build rapport with repeat customers
  • Provide a positive experience through engagement and presentation
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers
  • Suggestively sell add-ons to orders
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist where needed
  • Lead by example with a positive attitude and hands-on approach
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety practices
  • Maintain good hygiene and handwashing skills
  • Pay attention to details and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Understand food labeling, serving temperatures, FIFO, and customer engagement
  • Handle all kitchen equipment and report deficiencies
  • Perform additional projects and assignments as needed

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of food handling, food sanitation, and safety
  • 1–3 years of previous cooking experience preferred
  • Proficiency in knife handling and cooking techniques such as braising, sauté, sear, and grill
  • Ability to perform proper recipe conversion and measuring
  • Serve Safe and Allergen Certification preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • In process or completion of culinary education preferred

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
