COOK - PART-TIME (PM Hours)

JOB SUMMARY

Are you interested in becoming part of a dynamic team? Fair Oaks is looking for a part-time cook. Hours would be every other weekend 10:15 am - 6:15 pm, and every Friday 10:15am - 6:15 pm. Wage is $19.00 per hour.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare and plate food for residents following all recipes and diet orders.
• Operates, cleans and sanitizes kitchen and cafeteria equipment, dishes, and utensils.
• Adheres to food safety guidelines, follows diet restrictions and recipes.
• Gives effective communication and interaction with residents, visitors and other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Current Food Handler Certificate
• Ability to follow menu and recipes provided
• Knowledge of various diet types (LCS, Puree, Mechanical)
• Team player
• Effective communication skills
• Must be English literate and possess strong written and verbal communication skills
