About the role
Under the direct supervision of the Nutritional Services Coordinator/Supervisor, the cook will prepare, season and cook food for hospital patients, staff and visitors. Follows correct food preparation and handling procedures. Performs a variety of cleaning duties.
Qualifications
- Certifications:
- Jefferson: Food Handlers within 90 days of hire
- St. Louis/South: Serve Safe Manager within 90 days of hire
- Springfield: Food Handlers within 90 days of hire
- Washington: Serve Safe Manager within 90 days of hire
- Preferred Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred Experience: 90 days experience in hospital food service
