Cook, Part Time, 20 hrs/wk

About the role

Performs a variety of food and production assignments, along with related cleaning duties. Provides the highest level of customer service with the goal of delivering an outstanding experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food according to recipes and production standards.
• Produce, store, clean, and serve food items.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all products delivered for use within the Food Service Department and store in appropriate locations.
• Safely handle and store all products according to applicable guidelines.
• Assemble trays and plates according to customer needs.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment according to established guidelines.
• Tend to customers in person and via phone.
• Complete and maintain required documentation including HACCP temperature logs, prep and pull sheets, and cooling and re-heating logs.
• May be required to work off-site.
• Follow all regulatory guidelines as required.
• Communicate effectively to identify issues and ensure corrective measures are implemented.

Requirements

• Prior cooking/production experience required.
• Ability to speak English required.
• High School diploma or equivalent experience.

Pay

$18.69 – $26.01 per hour.
