Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing designated menu items using approved recipes, portions and plate presentations.
- Ensuring proper inventory rotation through the FIFO method.
- Operating, preparing and cleaning of all food preparation equipment, prep stations, and general kitchen areas.
- Using all cleaning materials appropriately.
- Using all related storerooms.
- Knowing and complying with all kitchen opening, closing and in-between show procedures.
- Knowing and complying with all emergency, evacuation and robbery procedures.
- Knowing and complying with all local, state and federal food safety and sanitation laws.
- Following the company's dress code.
- Absorbing and adhering to all federal and state laws regarding breaks and/or meal periods.
- Completing or progressing towards completion of the Cast Certification Program as a cast member and as a member of the kitchen staff.
- Completing or progressing towards completion of the Food Safety ROU Course.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (if not currently a high school student).
- Completion of the Cast Certification Program as a cast member and as a member of the kitchen staff or progress towards completion required.
- Completion of the Food Safety ROU Course or progress towards completion.
- Excellent public speaking, listening, and responding skills.
- Ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to identify and correct errors.
- Ability to evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence.
- Ability to establish goals, budget time, and set priorities to achieve desired objectives.
