Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh food items daily and accurately
• Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Menu and product knowledge
• Managing orders efficiently
• Preparing catering orders
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
• Maintaining health department standards throughout each shift
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas
• Performing shift-side work, including opening and closing duties
• Completing all course certifications for Kitchen Team Members in our training platform
• Understanding and abiding by all company standards and policies
• Obtaining a Food Handler’s card shortly after beginning employment

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experienced preferred but not required—training provided
• Proper knife skills
• Ability to operate all necessary kitchen equipment
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team as necessary
• Strong work ethic with passion and urgency
• Dependable and reliable
• Work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays (closed Thanksgiving & Christmas)
• Professional attitude and respect for coworkers, the establishment, and the brand

Schedule

• Morning shift: 8am – 4pm
• Evenings: 4pm – 10pm
• Weekends and holidays as applicable (always closed Thanksgiving & Christmas)
• Hours vary by store

Working Conditions

You'll work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment, which includes using equipment such as a flattop, char grill, oven, slicer, mixer, and food processor.
