Cook - Nights/Weekends

About the Role

As a Cook at Raising Cane’s, you will set the pace of the Restaurant by ensuring all of the food we serve meets our high standards. Working in the Kitchen at Raising Cane’s is a fun and fast-paced environment. You’ll have the opportunity to crank up the music and enjoy yourself while preparing high-quality chicken finger meals for our customers. Starting in the back of the house can lead to promotional opportunities, such as becoming a Bird Specialist or Certified Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food that meets Raising Cane’s standards
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and preparing food
• Provide quick and friendly service to customers
• Work as a team to ensure continuity of service
• Multitask and work under pressure

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Ability to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Ability to kneel, bend, twist, stoop, and ascend or descend stairs
• Ability to reach and grasp objects (including above head and below waistline)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to show up to scheduled shifts on time

Pay

Starting hiring pay at: $15.00. Within your first year, you can earn up to an extra $1.50 per hour through additional training, certifications, and performance evaluations.

Schedule

We are hiring immediately for Cooks that can work all shifts: opening shifts, closing shifts, and everything in between.
