About the role

As a Cook at Raising Cane’s, you will set the pace of the Restaurant by ensuring all of the food we serve meets our high standards. Working in the Kitchen at Raising Cane’s is a fun and fast-paced environment. Starting out in the back of the house can lead to many promotional opportunities, including advanced roles like Bird Specialist or Certified Trainer.

We are hiring entry-level and experienced Cooks who can thrive in an upbeat, fast-paced food service environment. No previous restaurant experience is required—paid training is provided. Within your first year, you can earn up to an extra $1.50 per hour through training, certifications, and performance evaluations.

We are immediately hiring for all shifts: opening, closing, and everything in between.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the highest quality chicken finger meals for customers
  • Lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
  • Kneel, bend, twist, or stoop
  • Ascend or descend stairs
  • Reach and grasp objects (including above head and below waistline)
  • Clean tables, floors, and other areas of the Restaurant
  • Take orders from customers and process payments efficiently
  • Follow proper safety procedures when handling and preparing food
  • Multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Work together as a team, assisting other Crewmembers to ensure continuity of service
  • Show up to scheduled shifts on time
  • Align with Raising Cane’s culture by balancing working hard and having fun
  • Take initiative and comply with Company policies

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Provide quick and friendly service to all customers
  • Work under pressure and at a fast pace
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay

Starting pay: $16.00 per hour. Additional $1 per hour after 10 PM (must satisfy hours requirement per year). Within the first year, you can earn up to an extra $1.50 per hour through training, certifications, and performance evaluations.
