COOK III - SHIFT WORK - MAUI COMMUNITY CORRECTIONAL CENTER - WAILUKU, MAUI
Duties Summary
Supervises and participates in cooking activities and is responsible for all cooking operations during an assigned work shift in a kitchen having several cooking stations serving a large number of meals.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- Legal Authorization To Work: Must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
- General Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience which demonstrated knowledge and skill to perform general quantity cooking duties.
- Supervisory Aptitude: Applicants must possess supervisory aptitude.
- Relevant Substitutions: As described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements.
- Other Requirements: Subject to drug screening and an intensive background check. Required to comply with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA).

- Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Requirement: Not hired or promoted if engaged in sexual abuse, convicted of sexual activity, civilly or administratively adjudicated to have engaged in sexual abuse, or subject to substantiated allegations of sexual abuse or resignation during a pending investigation.
