Cook III

Responsibilities

• Aid in preparing various types of food in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Assist in receiving and stocking deliveries according to proper rotation practices.
• Support kitchen attendants as necessary.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of basic line cooking experience in a high-quality restaurant, country club, hotel, or senior living facility.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• A Food Handler certificate is required, and must be obtained.
• A valid driver’s license may be required, depending on the position.
• Basic knowledge of all kitchen functions.
• An eye for detail and accuracy in following recipe cards and using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
