Responsibilities
- Aid in preparing various types of food in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Assist in receiving and stocking deliveries according to proper rotation practices.
- Support kitchen attendants as necessary.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of basic line cooking experience in a high-quality restaurant, country club, hotel, or senior living facility.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- A Food Handler certificate is required, and must be obtained.
- A valid driver’s license may be required, depending on the position.
- Basic knowledge of all kitchen functions.
- An eye for detail and accuracy in following recipe cards and using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
