About the role
The cook position at Stein Eriksen Lodge is a key role in creating memorable culinary experiences for guests. Reporting to the Executive Chef, the cook will assist in executing the menu and maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Report to work in a clean, complete uniform in a timely manner.
- Consistently monitor sanitation and cleanliness of work station, kitchen and equipment.
- Adhere to company and department policies and procedures.
- Maintain par levels determined by Sous Chef.
- Label and date products produced on a daily basis.
- Follow menu specifications in a precise, efficient manner according to Executive Chef guidelines.
- Perform work related duties as assigned.
- Participate in department meetings.
Requirements
- Six months - One year in Foods Industry in comparable job.
- Professional appearance.
- Food handler’s permit or sanitation certificate.
Qualifications
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
Skills
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow directions and adhere to strict protocols.
