Job Summary and Qualifications
The Cook II prepares patient and cafeteria food, special functions according to planned menus, using standardized recipes and production sheets.
A minimum of two years in quantity cooking, prefer hospital/healthcare experience of one year
Culinary training from an accredited program preferred
Basic knowledge of quantity food preparation, utilizing large equipment
Practice of special diets
Creativity in food preparation and presentation
Practices food cost control principles relative to production
Adeherence to standardized recipes, portion control and labeling and dating
Able to follow instructions

About the Hospital
Los Robles Regional Medical Center is a 380+ bed acute care hospital dedicated to serving the residents of Ventura and Los Angeles Counties along with the Greater Conejo Valley.
