About the role
Under general supervision, prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of food items in appropriate quantities while following menus, recipes, and production sheets. Maintains a clean and sanitary work area. Communicates with other production staff regarding menus, recipes, and portion sizes. Provides training and guidance to other employees performing related work.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to HACCP/food safety guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Utilize proper equipment to produce standard recipes
- Utilize systems to ensure quality in food production
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare food service preferred
- 2+ years of experience in quantity cooking preferred
