Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced environment while following safe food preparation practices.
- Communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- Read and follow recipes and measurement instructions accurately.
- Regularly taste, touch, and smell products to ensure quality and consistency.
- Inspect presentation quality and expedite the line as necessary.
- Work at any station in the culinary area as required.
- Maintain workstation and equipment safety and cleanliness.
- Ensure walking coolers, freezers, and dry storage are clean, organized, and sanitary.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Protect company assets and maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Speak clearly and professionally.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Support the team to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Achieve quality expectations and standards.
Qualifications
- Two years of culinary training or related kitchen experience.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, food products, and food service equipment.
- Food Handler certification required.
- Flexibility with workdays and hours.
- A people-oriented personality who enjoys cooking and kitchen safety.
