Responsibilities
- Inspects, selects and uses food items of the highest quality in the preparation of all menu items
- Ensure food to order items for customers/guests are in a timely and consistent manner
- Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist
- Date all food containers and rotate
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- A self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Able to maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
- Able to communicate well with guests
- Willing to “pitch-in” and help coworkers with their job duties and be a team player
- Able to adapt to change in work area and hotel procedures
- Able to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help when unsure
- Understand and believe that every Crescent associate is a guest relations ambassador, every working minute of every day
- Flexible availability required, must be available to work weekends
- Fine dining experience preferred
- Knife & light butchery skills preferred
Qualifications
Experience Required: 2 years
