Responsibilities

• Follow standardized recipes for meal preparation.
• Prepare everything on the menu for your shift and prep food for the next shift.
• Cook and prepare meals, reading recipes and meal tickets to ensure proper distribution.
• Maintain proper portion control.
• Maintain a clean kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and removing trash.
• Ensure food and other items are stocked and stored properly.
• Be polite and helpful to residents, responding to their requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous cooking experience is preferred but we are willing to train.
• Ability to pass a TB Test and Healthcare background check.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.
• Ability to get to and from work reliably when scheduled.
