About the role
At 7th Street Burger, our Part-Time & Full-Time Cooks are the heart of the shop. You smash, flip, and grill the burgers New York lines up for, keeping quality high and tickets moving even at full volume. If you take pride in your craft, work clean, and thrive in the rush, we want you on the line.
What You'll Do
- Work the grill, fryer, and prep stations
- Get orders out fast without sacrificing quality
- Maintain a clean station and follow Department of Health standards
- Clean the kitchen daily and assist on deep cleaning days
- Communicate with cashiers and teammates to keep orders accurate
What You'll Bring
- Previous cooking experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
- Food handler certification strongly preferred (we will help you get certified)
- Ability to work 8+ hour shifts on your feet
- A team-first mindset and calm under pressure
- Flexible availability for late nights (3:00am), weekends, and holidays
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a PLUS!
