COOK - Full Time & Part Time

Around the Role

Nestled just outside the Great Smoky Mountains, around 30 miles North of Knoxville, in a small, quaint, beautiful town, called Andersonville, sits Norris Academy, a residential treatment facility that offers comprehensive, holistic services to youth with autism spectrum disorders, and/or other neurodevelopmental diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Preparing meals, and then grilling, frying, or baking it, adjusting to dietary needs for 3 meals per day plus snack for 60-100 people in a residential cafeteria 365 days a year.
• Serving meals and maintaining food safety.
• Cleaning workspaces, utensils, & dishes, and sanitizing.
• Enforce facility rules, policies, and routines.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background screening, drug test, and physical.

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$17 per hour.
