What You'll Do

• Preparing and cooking fresh, flavorful meals following approved menus and recipes.
• Presenting meals with care to create an enjoyable dining experience.
• Following all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and dining area.
• Working closely with nursing and leadership teams to accommodate special diets and resident preferences.
• Ensuring compliance with ServeSafe guidelines and state regulations.
• Helping create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where residents enjoy gathering for meals.

What We're Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED
• Previous cooking experience required; experience in senior living, healthcare, or memory care is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassion for older adults and a commitment to providing exceptional service
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds
