Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality meals according to recipes and menu standards
• Ensuring food looks great and tastes great every time it's served
• Following food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Supporting special dietary needs and preparing meals according to nutritional guidelines
• Working efficiently during meal service while maintaining attention to detail
• Assisting with meal service and kitchen cleanup when needed
• Collaborating with team members to create a welcoming dining experience
• Connecting with residents and gathering feedback to improve our food service
• Helping maintain an organized, safe, and positive kitchen environment

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Culinary degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience
• Passion for food and hospitality
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Dependable and committed to providing excellent service
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Level 2 Background Screening through Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
