Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality meals according to recipes and menu standards
- Ensuring food looks great and tastes great every time it's served
- Following food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Supporting special dietary needs and preparing meals according to nutritional guidelines
- Working efficiently during meal service while maintaining attention to detail
- Assisting with meal service and kitchen cleanup when needed
- Collaborating with team members to create a welcoming dining experience
- Connecting with residents and gathering feedback to improve our food service
- Helping maintain an organized, safe, and positive kitchen environment
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Culinary degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience
- Passion for food and hospitality
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Dependable and committed to providing excellent service
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Level 2 Background Screening through Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse

Pay
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
