About the role

Encore Village of Schaumburg is seeking a full-time Cook responsible for food preparation using standardized recipes and production worksheets, assisting with set-up, service, and cleanup of food production, and adhering to cleaning, safety, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food utilizing standardized recipes and production worksheets
• Assist with set-up, service, and cleanup of food production
• Maintain cleaning, safety, and sanitation standards
• Coordinate with Chef/Production Manager to develop new menu items and recipes
• Inform Chef/Production Manager of inventory requirements in a timely fashion
• Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident and employee information

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months professional cooking experience preferred
• Experience working in restaurants is a plus
