About the role

This individual is responsible for food production across all areas of the department. A knowledge of various cookery methods is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Produce a high-quality, visually appealing meal within a specified timeframe.

Qualifications

  • No formal education required.
  • A Food Handler license within 180 days is mandatory.
  • Two or more years of food service experience are preferred.
  • No certifications are required.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Excellent integrity and initiative.
  • Moral character and effective communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Basic math skills and time management.
  • Great interpersonal skills.

  • Oven
  • Grill
  • Slicer
  • Mixer
  • Blender
  • Steamer
  • Pushing/pulling/gripping equipment (up to 50 pounds and pinching up to 10 pounds)

Preferred Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A Serve Safe certification is preferred.
